Made of 18 gauge steel with a triple zinc-plated finish. For use with the new preservative alternatives. Double shear nailing allows for 30 degree to 45 degree nailing through joist into the heading resulting in higher loads and less nailing. Uses 16d nails (not included). Nails should be hot-dip galvanized steel.
